Waggybytes from Andy Heathershaw

Waggybytes is deliberately small. In fact, it’s a one-person company.

I’m Andy Heathershaw, the person behind Waggybytes. I design and build cloud software, run the technology and infrastructure behind it, and provide managed services that help keep other businesses online and running smoothly.

Being a one-person company means there aren’t layers between the people using the technology and the person responsible for it. The same person writing the code is making the decisions about how it’s built, keeping the services running and providing the support when you need it.

Modern tools, including AI, are an important part of how I work. I use them where they genuinely help, responsibly and thoughtfully, but Waggybytes remains human-led. The ideas, judgement and responsibility stay with me, and people remain at the heart of everything Waggybytes builds and provides.

I believe great software should be simple, secure and affordable. Those principles guide everything I build at Waggybytes.

  • Simple
Software should be simple to use and fully functional, no matter what device it is used on. Cloud hosted software allows you to access it from any device, anywhere.

  • Secure
Software should protect your data and keep it safe. Your data is stored on secure hardware backed by strong security practices and managed by established, reputable companies.

  • Affordable
It shouldn’t cost you the earth to embrace "the cloud" and move to cloud-based software. Waggybytes software is affordably priced with no time lock-in.
